What Happens After I Purchase Net Nanny?

 

When we receive your payment notification we will send you an email confirmation which contains a link to download the latest Net Nanny software, together with your unique licence number.

 

How do I install Net Nanny?

 

Net Nanny is provided as a downloadable product unless you bought a retail version. You simply download the Net Nanny software on to the computer you wish to monitor and insert your licence number when asked.

 

How do I install Net Nanny on a different computer?

 

If the computer you want to install Net Nanny is different to the one which receives your emails, simply enter the download link on to the computer you wish to monitor.

I've lost my licence number

 

You can view your licence number by right clicking your Net Nanny Toolbar Icon - select ABOUT, and your licence number will be displayed on screen.

 

If you cannot access your net nanny admin screen then please Contact us include your full name, address and the email address used for your administrator account.

 

How do I customise my Net Nanny?

 

Net Nanny is installed with pre-loaded configurations to keep your children safe on the Internet. If you want to set Nanny to follow your own settings you can download the Net Nanny Users Guide here

I have two computers in my home - do I need more than one Net Nanny?

 

Net Nanny is designed for installation on one computer, and has the option to monitor multiple family members. If you have more than one child, or one computer you may wish to purchase more than one Net Nanny licence. We offer multiple user licences at a discounted rate to allow you to monitor multiple computers/ children. More information

 

What is the difference between Default Mode and User Mode?

Net Nanny is automatically installed in Default Mode. This means that users are able to access the Internet and instant messaging without signing in to Net Nanny. Default Mode provides ease-of-use; however, it does not separately monitor each user's Internet usage, and filters are unilaterally applied to all users.
